Demeter logoThe holistic Demeter requirements – the brand for products from Biodynamic Agriculture – exceed government mandated regulations. Not only do they exclude the use of synthetic fertilisers and chemical plant protection agents in agricultural crop production, or artificial additives during processing, but also require very specific measures to strengthen the life processes in soil and foodstuffs.

Eategrity logo

After spending three years researching the dysfunctional food system in South Africa and exposing many of the misleading claims, Sonia Mountford launched EATegrity at the end of 2015, helping you find integrity in the food chain.

Mountford has also been trained by IFOAM Organics International to be a Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) facilitator and is a passionate advocate for Nutritional Food Security. She has recently been voted onto the SAOSO Steering Committee and helped develop the groundbreaking Eat Out Sustainable Restaurant Award and is a judge for this award.

EATegrity advocates for Traceable Transparency and Authenticity in claims. Enthusiastic about guiding and informing consumers through media, talks and social media, EATegrity focuses on educating consumers to have a clear understanding on the importance of supporting and protecting our smallholder and organic farmers. EATegrity believes that by growing an informed consumer base this will encourage meaningful change in our food system
